Meet KARL, our in-house dj

Someone who knows this place (and how to fill a dancefloor).

Karl’s been DJing for 27 years, and in that time he’s played hundreds of weddings here at The Harty Estate. Which means he knows exactly how the evening unfolds, when to bring the energy up, and how to read a room full of your favourite people.

He’s not just pressing play on a playlist. Karl mixes – seamlessly blending everything from timeless classics and party favourites to R&B, rock, garage and international genres. Every set is tailored to you, your style, your story, and the people you’ve invited to celebrate with you.

His approach is relaxed, friendly, and completely adaptable, keeping that dancefloor busy from the first dance to last orders.

A Few Words From Karl

What’s your favourite part of being a DJ?

“Being part of someone’s special day, definitely. And I love the moment when guests realise I’m actually mixing the songs, not just playing them back-to-back like a playlist. The reaction is always brilliant. Creating that energy on the dancefloor – getting everyone up and involved – that’s what I’m here for.”

What’s Your Favourite wedding memory?

“There was an autumn wedding where the bride was having such a good time that she came onto the dancefloor with a pumpkin on her head. That’s the kind of night you want.”
