We were made to feel so welcomed and special from the moment we entered the building, giving us all those wedding feels straight away, and the feeling this venue being the one for us.
Weddings are known for being stressful, but The Harty Estate team are so helpful and on hand to answer any questions responding quickly, in particular Sam our wedding coordinator who took all that stress away from us making our wedding planning experience a really enjoyable one!
The day of the wedding was nothing but chilled vibes, no stress or worries and this was all thanks to the team who were on hand throughout the day to ensure we had everything we needed. We were relaxed and soaking up every magical moment.
All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue is, the deliciousness of the food (clear plates all round is a winner in my eyes) and the attentiveness of the staff - we really couldn’t have asked for anymore.
We had the two day package which meant we had the evening before with our immediate family sharing a delicious grazing board. This made our wedding even more special and those wedding feels last a little longer - a week later we’ve still got family talking about how it felt like a lovely mini break.
The venue itself is remote, but in a beautiful, quiet area with stunning views - very picturesque.
The rooms were clean, spacious and had stunning views on the waterside, all our guests said the beds were really comfortable and they felt welcomed and enjoyed their stay.
Overall our Harty Estate wedding was absolutely amazing, a day I will never forget. and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone considering getting married here - you will not be disappointed.
We couldn’t have asked for a more magical wedding experience! From the moment we booked, the planning process was effortless- the team was incredibly organised, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day special.
The rooms and getting ready spaces were ideal - comfortable, romantic, and everything we needed. We also rented out the Mocketts Cottages and it was such a treat to have so many of our family and friends stay close by.
The staff were an absolute dream to work with - friendly, professional, and always ready with a smile. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and made us feel truly celebrated. The venue itself was stunning, and our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was.
And the food - wow! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You could truly taste the quality and care, with locally sourced ingredients too.

My now husband and I got married at The Harty Estate and the day could not have been more perfect! Maxine and the team were AMAZING, anything you needed, they had already thought of and handled it for you, they always had someone available from the very start to the very end of the night and they were so attentive at every minute of the day!
Myself and my bridal party were truly looked after and all of my guests said how great the customer service and quality of everything was.
We opted for a twilight wedding (later ceremony) and it was PERFECT! The Food was absolutely delicious, I would recommend anyone looking for a cosy, barn style wedding with amazing views of the estuary to book The Harty Estate! You WILL not be disappointed!
My husband and I got married at The Harty Estate in April and had the most incredible experience. From our first viewing we were made to feel so special. Weddings are incredibly stressful, but The Ferry House team are so capable that they make the planning process feel easy.
We were able to stay the night before our wedding, and from the moment I arrived to check in to the room I was warmly welcomed by name and had the full VIP treatment. The room itself (the Waterside suite) was stunning, and the bed was so comfortable. On the day, everything went calmly and smoothly thanks to the efforts of all of The Harty Estate team who took such amazing care of us on the day and ensured everything was taken care of.

On the day itself, everything was so calm, smooth, and beautifully organised that we could simply enjoy the moment. It all went to plan seamlessly, and we know that’s thanks to all your hard work behind the scenes. We really appreciate all the extra care and attention to my disabled brother, Jake. Being able to get him inside the boys getting ready room meant the world to everyone, and his room being ready earlier with his hoist alleviated so much worry.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. You created the perfect day for us, and we will always be grateful.
