Spring Barn has been carefully designed with large weddings in mind, without losing any of the warmth and character the estate is known for. Its oak hammerbeam frame creates a generous, open space with no vertical columns, so every guest has a clear view and stays connected to the moment. Vast windows look out over the Rose Garden, orchard and estuary - natural light flooding in, and one of Kent's most beautiful landscapes behind you as you say your vows.

Oak, brick and polished concrete give the barn a feel that is rustic at heart but refined in finish. Ceremony, dining, dancing, a lounge and bar - everything happens in one room, so your guests move through the day without ever feeling removed from the atmosphere.

If you’re draw to an outdoor wedding ceremony, our Oak Gazebo offers a truly special setting from April-October, overlooking the estuary, rose garden and surrounded by peaceful countryside.

Set beside Spring Barn and our waterside terraces, it creates an easy, natural flow from ceremony to celebration. With a laid-back, open-sky backdrop for your vows, the Oak Gazebo really brings a sense of calm, space and natural beauty to your day.

A big wedding doesn't mean losing those quiet moments in between. The Orchard and the estuary shore are perfect for slipping away together to soak it all in, and our team will naturally build those pauses into your day.

You'll also find plenty of spaces to celebrate with your guests in a more personal way - waterside terraces, Spring Barn's courtyard lounge, and your own private 16th-century pub, The Ferry House. There's room here for your wedding to feel big, but never impersonal.

Great food and celebration go hand in hand – and with a big guest list, that lively, feasting atmosphere around the table becomes all the more special.

Our chefs draw on homegrown, home-farmed produce to form dishes that feel rooted in the estate. At your Taster Evening, you'll handpick your favourites, creating a three-course, three-choice wedding breakfast menu, plus canapés and carefully chosen wines.

For the evening, there's a range of exciting options, late-night snacks and bespoke drinks stations to choose from - perfect for keeping your guests well-fed, happy and fuelled for the dancefloor well into the night.

Keeping your guests close is one of the things that makes a wedding feel whole - and with accommodation for 75 or more on the estate, you can do exactly that.

Our 11 ensuite rooms are split between five Waterside Rooms above The Ferry House, and six in The Coach House, both at the heart of the estate. Our five self-catering cottages can be found at Mocketts Farm a short, five minutes walk away - ideal for families or groups who want a little more space.

The morning after, everyone is welcome to gather for a Kentish breakfast before the day finds its own pace again.

For larger weddings especially, extending into two days is well worth considering. Whether that's a lively night-before party with grazing and drinks, or a leisurely brunch the morning after - it's a wonderful way to make the most of this special time with the people you love.
