Is there a better way to end a celebration than falling asleep to views across the estuary, and waking up to them too? The five Waterside Rooms sleep up to 10 guests above The Ferry House, with rooms 2-5 looking out over the gardens, wild wetlands and Swale estuary. Room 5 in particular is something special, with its super-king sleigh bed, lounge and a spa bath for two - because some occasions deserve that little bit extra.

The practicalities have been taken care of too. Families are well catered for, with some rooms able to accommodate little ones, and Room 11 fully accessible with a spacious wet room. And then there is Room 6 - a four-poster bed and a freestanding copper bath make it very hard to check out in the morning.

Our five cottages at Mocketts Farm can be booked together or separately, sleeping 4-53 guests just a five-minute stroll from the estate’s event spaces.
They’re ideal accommodation for families and groups who want a little more space after celebrating — or for those who want to extend their stay and make a proper country break of it. With sociable layouts, BBQ fire pits and a shared games room, there’s plenty to keep everyone happy long after the event, and the open countryside and coastal walks on the doorstep make it very easy to say yes to another night or two.

After the celebrations, breakfast brings everyone back together. A hot Kentish buffet is just what fuzzy heads call for, with fresh bread, homemade preserves, fruit, yogurt and cereals, washed down with tea, coffee and fresh local juices. For those staying in our rooms, breakfast is included, while cottage guests can join for a separate cost if they wish.
