The Burden family, owners of The Harty Estate, have been farming this land for three generations. Food cultivation is at the heart of every wedding and event menu – and the kitchen garden is where that story is most visible.
Established in 2013 from a single humble lettuce bed, the garden has grown into something very special. A large, flourishing space, cropped daily throughout the seasons. Herbs, vegetables, fruits and botanicals – grown here on the estate and brought straight to the kitchen.
We are currently in the process of reorganising the kitchen garden and redeveloping the self-guided garden tour that guests to enjoy. Please check back soon for updates.
