estate to plate menus for every celebration

Food is at the heart of everything that happens here, bringing people together around the table to celebrate over menus rooted in the estate. While we’re not an everyday public restaurant or a walk-in dining experience, there are several ways to experience the estate through food.

Whether you’re holding your wedding, joining us for one of our pop-up dining occasions or bringing a group together for a private event, the food elevates every occasion.

Wedding + Event Dining

Weddings, corporate events and private celebrations at The Harty Estate all have something in common – the food. Our chefs bring creativity and a deep understanding of the estate’s produce, working with ingredients grown and sourced close to home to make dishes that feel right for your occasion.

From canapés and drinks receptions to three-course wedding breakfasts and relaxed evening grazing, the style and pace are chosen to suit. Everything is planned as part of the event itself.

POP UP DINING OCCASSIONS

On select dates throughout the year, we open the estate for relaxed pop-up dining occasions - a chance for guests beyond weddings and private events to experience the food and the estate for themselves.

Menus are seasonal and shaped around estate-born produce, and what feels right for the time of year. If you'd like to make more of it, our 11 estate guest rooms are available to book alongside. Dogs are welcome too - the estate has some beautiful walks to make the most of.

Pop-up dining dates are limited and announced ahead of time. See what's coming up soon...

Private Dining

There are few better ways to bring a group together than private dining at The Harty Estate, for groups of 15 to 350 guests. Whether you're planning a three-course sit-down dinner or a relaxed grazing occasion, our characterful dining spaces and estate produce make the occasion.

Food Ethos

As a third generation farming family, we know where good food comes from - because we grow it, raise it and prepare it ourselves.

Our menus are built around produce from the Kitchen Garden, grass-grazed beef from the family farm and wild game and seasonal ingredients from the estate. Kent is the Garden of England for good reason, and we work closely with fellow producers who share our values - quality, high welfare and sustainable practices.

It's about more than just ingredients, it's about honouring the land, supporting our community, and bringing quality flavours to your table with heart and care in every dish we serve.
