Staying on site changes the dynamic of a corporate event. When the day’s work is done, your team can relax, connect and recharge together, without anyone making a drive home after a busy day. The Harty Estate has 34 rooms across 11 guest rooms and five self-catering cottages, all within the estate grounds and a short stroll from the event spaces. Comfortable, characterful and set in the Kent countryside beside the Swale estuary.

Accommodation Breakdown

A flexible mix of 11 guest rooms and 5 self-catering cottages, with sleeping arrangements to suit your group.

  • Ensuite guest rooms sleeping 11 as single occupancy, or 22 if sharing double beds
  • 23 further bedrooms are available across five cottages (22 rooms configurable as singles or doubles, plus 1 fixed double)
  • Additional sofa beds are available at selected cottages on request
  • Accessible rooms and ensuite wet rooms available across both guest rooms & cottages
  • Cottages are self-catering with catering options, including our Kentish breakfast

Estate Guest Rooms

There is nothing quite like a beautiful room to come back to after a productive day. Our eleven individually styled rooms are all just steps from the main event spaces, with luxurious beds, Noble Isle toiletries, Nespresso and Smart TVs throughout. Wake up to a proper Kentish breakfast and you are ready for the day ahead.

Waterside Accommodation

You'll find the five Waterside Rooms above The Ferry House - the estate's 16th century private pub. Rooms 2-5 have views across the gardens, wild wetlands and Swale estuary, and certainly make the office feel very far away indeed.

Coach House Accommodation

Six large, luxurious rooms full of character, with handmade British beds, beautiful soft furnishings and thoughtful design details that nod to the heritage of the estate. Rainfall showers to recharge you, USB ports to recharge your devices - everything you need to feel properly restored after a team away day.

Cottage Accommodation

Sometimes the best team building happens away from the agenda. Our five self-catering cottages at Mocketts Farm sit within open countryside and farmland, just a five-minute stroll from the main estate, giving groups the space and privacy to properly connect away from the meeting room. Catering from the estate is available alongside self-catering, and the shared games room, BBQ fire pits and open countryside are there whenever the team needs to switch off.

A proper breakfast sets the team up for a purposeful day. Our full Kentish buffet brings everyone back together in the morning - fresh bread, homemade preserves, fruit, yogurt, cereals, hot options, tea, coffee and fresh local juices. Included for all guest room guests, with cottage guests welcome to join at an additional cost.
