the way guests stay with us has changed
For 25 years, guests have stayed overnight in our estate guest rooms as part of a visit to The Ferry House, and we’re grateful to everyone who made them part of their experience here.
As The Ferry House has become part of The Harty Estate, the way our guest rooms are used has changed.
Today, the estate is an exclusive hire wedding and events venue, with accommodation and dining planned around private celebrations. Our 11 estate guest rooms are now reserved for weddings and private events held here, so couples and hosts can share the estate with their guests and make it their own for the duration of their stay.
We do make estate guest rooms available to the public to book on special pop up dining occasions throughout the year, offering a chance to make a night of those visits.
For guests looking to stay outside of events, the estate’s Mocketts Farm Cottages are available year round for leisure stays and offer a lovely base to explore the surrounding Kent countryside and coastline.
