Weddings have a way of flying by. Having your favourite people staying with you on the estate means your big day feels longer, warmer and more connected.

The Harty Estate has 11 guest rooms and five cottages sleeping up to 75 guests, all within easy reach of the wedding barns and each other. The morning after, gather everyone for a Kentish estate breakfast and take your time saying goodbye.

If you’d like even more time together, our two-day weddings let you extend the celebration, with a relaxed gathering the night before, and a slow breakfast the morning after.

Luxury Guest Rooms

Our 11 guest rooms sit at the heart of the estate, sleeping 22 guests in the Waterside Rooms above The Ferry House, and the Coach House Rooms just across the courtyard.

Each room is individually styled and includes welcome touches that make your wedding guests feel well looked after –Nespresso coffee machines, Noble Isle toiletries, and of course, our Kentish estate breakfast.

Waterside Wedding Accommodation

The five Waterside Rooms sleep up to 10 guests, sitting above The Ferry House - the estate's 16th-century private inn. Rooms 2–5 look out over the gardens, estuary and wild wetlands, with some of the best views on the estate. Suite 5 is one of two Honeymoon Suite options, with a super-king sleigh bed, cosy lounge and spa bath for two.

Coach House Wedding Accommodation

The six Coach House Rooms sleep a further 11 guests at the heart of the estate.

Luxurious and stylish, these large, ensuite rooms feature handmade British beds, locally crafted soft furnishings and little design touches that reflect the heritage of the estate. Some can accommodate little ones with space for camp beds or cots, while Room 11 is fully accessible with a spacious wet room.

Room 6, with a four poster bed and freestanding copper bath, is a favourite with some couples choosing it as their Honeymoon Suite.

Cottage Accommodation

A five-minute stroll from the main estate, the five Mocketts Farm Cottages sleep up to 53 guests individually or together.

Surrounded by open countryside and our working family farmland, they’re a sociable, relaxed place to gather, with sun loungers, BBQ fire pits, a shared games room and beautiful coastal walks on the doorstep.

Planning a two-day wedding? The cottages are perfect for a relaxed night-before gathering, keeping the venue a surprise. And on your wedding day, you can arrive in true Kentish style – by vintage tractor, hay bales and all.

The morning after calls for a proper breakfast. A full hot buffet alongside fresh bread, homemade preserves, fruit, yogurt, cereals, tea, coffee and local juices, included for all guests staying in our rooms, with the option to invite your cottage guests along too.
